p.s. official birthday day rules state that i do not, under any circumstances, answer my phone for anyone except my parents. i let the voicemails collect, the facebook messages accrue, and the birthday love pile up until the end of the day. and then - when the conferencing and official celebrations are through, i lay in bed and retrieve the love. it's my favorite way.
