Office space

The good news: it looks like we're moving after all.
I know, i didn't really keep you up to date on the moving business, so you may have missed the part where we were sure it wasn't gonna happen, but it's back on.
I don't wanna go "YAY" just yet, but it's looking good.

The bad news: i didn't buy this desk for my new office when i had the chance, and now i can't find another one like it.

It wasn't in the best condition, but still, so awesome

Look, the other side has shelves and a secret compartment

So, if there are any collectors of mid-century Danish design furniture out there who needs to clear out their basements, i'll take a desk!

what is your favorite hour of the day?

a:

the hour after coming home from work.

for one, i'm not at work anymore. plus, i can change into my pajamas, put my hair in a pony tail, eat something good {usually toast and grapes}, download the affairs of the day with jen, all the while... i'm still in my pajamas. or at least a t-shirt and jeans. and nothing is better than that.

oy. i'm late on this. i hate to be a late blogger, but...

lara and i trekked north to logan a couple weeks ago to watch her all-star brother matt play some basketball. it's always kind of thrilling... vip family seats, going out to dinner afterward where - for a city like logan - he's like the biggest celebrity around {and by big i mean 6' 9" big}.

lara and i tried to recreate all our favorites moments from last year.

and then there was this guy... can you spy him? you know, the one NOT wearing blue. the one who danced shamelessly while the opposing team tried to shoot a basket. i mean, talk about distracting. distracting in the worst way. in the it's-been-two-weeks-and-i-still-have-to-shake-the-mental-image-from-my-head kind of way.

thanks, lara, for having a brother who's really good at basketball. and thanks, matt, for - you know, being like, really tall and coordinated with a ball.
