holly.

aubry is my constant friend.

we became inseparable BFF’s our sophomore year of high school.
(although i’m not sure what took us so long since our families were friends our whole lives basically.)

we craft.
we eat.
we bake.

 we tried to learn french.
(maybe we would have been more successful if we had spent more time in our seats instead of balancing skittles on our eyes)

we love hot tamales, starburst, and skittles.

we NEVER skipped a spirit week activity or dress up day.

we rocked gigantic, oversized gap overalls. (circa 1997, 1998, and 1999)

we dressed like used car sales men for halloweeen.
(i’m so sad i don’t have a picture of this so you get boring princess and court jester Halloween instead)

we never missed a stake dance. (I always drove “sally”…her purple elantra)
we loved santee boys.

we had a gazillion sleepovers and swore one night we should just sleep in “sally”.

we passed a notebook with all of our deepest darkest secrets.
we loved crayola bold markers.

we played chug-a-lug with martinellis on new years eve.

we ate my mom’s finnish pancakes and cinnamon rolls and her dad’s quesadillas and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice from his grove.

we received our young womanhood recognition awards together.

we were best friends when cell phones didn’t exsist. we didn’t text, IM, heytell, facebook, or tweet and yet we somehow communicated allthetime.

we talked on a real phone until the wee hours of the morning-dozing off and muttering nonsense…”saaaalt”.

we convinced our mothers that going to school everyday wasn’t necessary our senior year. They would write us notes excusing us for “personal reasons” and aubs and I would go to the movies, bagel town (for cranberry bagels and white sobe’s), hilbertos, or just to cruise the 52;)

we took a road trip our senior year. we filled “sally” with snacks and plenty of road trip music. jo dee messina (i’m alright), faith hill (this kiss), and deana carter (i’ve got a brand new pair of roller skates) needless to say, aubry’s music has changed a bit since those days;)

aubry is loyal and faithful….a page turner extraordinaire!
I couldn’t be more blessed with a more genuine, supportive, and constant friend.
I love you aubs!
