something pretty.

i lost a follower!

i always take it personally... as if it was something i said to drive someone away.  i mean, it's got to be something i said... that's the only reason you all come... to hear what i've got to say.

so, naturally, it's got to be a direct correlation to what i said most recently.  two blahhhh posts in a row. what a drag.

so, instead, here's something pretty.  dog wallpaper.  which, despite my strong feelings about pets, i used to have a giant dog silhouette in my main floor guest bath... these dogs would be a great addition.

and since i didn't get a good, bad, ugly list out yesterday {darn new sunday schedule}, here's a highlight of only the good things that happened to me last week:

i made baked creamy chicken taquitos and scarfed them down all through the week.  i could eat them forever.

dinner with bestie jen at trio.  i don't know why anyone would eat an entree there.  i could live off the tomato soup, the flatbread plate, and the antipasti plate.

i left the office no later than 5:30 every day last week.  that is MAJOR.

kudos and love from lots of clients on the archaeology tour. that always makes a girl feel good.

i wasn't raptured. {that's a good thing, right?}

i ran into bestie jen at the grocery store.  you know how fun it is to see someone in a random place like that?  and then how much cooler it is when it's your best friend?  our lives intersected in the produce aisle. and we didn't even plan it.

i started knitting again.  it's going to be awesome.

i also loaded the netflix queue.  it's about time.  i've had my account for months but never bothered with my queue.  this also means i'll be checking the mail more often.

i communed with the garden on saturday for as long as humanly possible.  outside time is good time.

modified this recipe for some raspberry + boysenberry ice cream pie {with the most delicious almond brown sugar crust!}  and bonus! i have 7 slices left.  ice cream pie for breakfast?  sure.

and in really happy news, the pool opens this weekend.  hallelujah.  bring on the brown skin!
