the summer of weddings.

i guess we all reach a point in our lives when it seems that many of our friends are all getting married.  well, i'm there!  this summer i have been invited to THREE weddings, though sadly i can only make it to two. 

• first there is darcy.  he is one of my oldest friends.  we have known each other since junior kindergarten.  he's marrying the WONDERFUL lianne on june 18 (oh my gosh it's next weekend!!!!).  i'm SO SO sad that i can't make it but i'll still be in vietnam.  anyway, they are wonderful for each other and i remember the first time i met lianne, darcy said to me, "em, this is the girl i'm going to marry!".  and he was right!  congrats lianne and darce.  i hope i get to see you this summer and congratulate you in person!!  xo
• next up is ms. sarito bandito.  otherwise known as mlle. polowski.  or sarah!  we'll go with sarah!  ANYWAY, she is also getting married this summer on august 4th to mat.  though i haven't met mat yet, i'm sure he's wonderful if sarah picked him to be her ONE.  the wedding will take place in thunder bay and i WILL be there!  i'm SO excited!  and i'm SO happy for her.  she deserves it!!  love you sarah xo.
• finally, there is the pottery/lamarche wedding in picton ontario.  simon and kathleen, two of my amazing friends from egypt will be getting married on august 13!  they are pretty much the cutest couple ever and i am so happy that i will be able to share their special day with them!  i haven't even seen them since i left egypt so this will also be like a mini reunion!  FUN, FUN, FUN!

so again, congrats to darcy and lianne, sarah and mat, and kathleen and simon.  i'm so happy for you guys and wish you nothing but the best in your lives together.  xoxoxoxo
