perhaps the poorest quality photo known to man, as taken by camera phone through the muddied, mood mirrors in thehotel at mandalay bay. it looks that way on purpose, i think.
point being: one of these things is not like the other in vegas.
the crew neck t-shirt, my one-size-too-big-but-really-comfortable american eagle jeans and old navy flip flops were not the norm in vegas... or in the arena of the britney show on saturday night.
we laughed at the thought of all the hotel room bathroom countertops that were plastered with make up and product... so much hairspray... and curling and straightening devices... and more hairspray. not to mention the weekend bags that were torn apart and emptied onto the bed... and all the synthetics pieces that were tried on before the Girls of Vegas finally arrived at the right outfit for a night out.
... or in a bleacher seat in a dimly lit general purpose arena.
taking all those things into consider, i chose my japanese tsunami relief fund t-shirt. i made friends with a lot of international tourists that way.
