what i'm reading...

i didn't know if i wanted to read this or not...but then i saw it when i was visiting the library the other day and my friend said i could borrow it while the library is on holidays.  i took it and i can't put it down!  in a way it's like a train wreck, and i am reading because i need to know what will happen.  but it is also really interesting.

it's about the young girl who was abducted at age 11 and kept in the backyard of her abductor for 18 years. can you imagine?!?!  EIGHTEEN YEARS!!!!!!  she was raped and told that she was helping others by letting him treat her this way.  she had two daughters while she was being held there in the backyard but was always afraid to leave because she didn't know where she was or how she would survive with her two children on her own. 

i don't want to ruin it all for you because i think it's a really good read and it's definitely worth the time.  i'm glad i decided to give it a shot.
