well, let's see....i may have slept in a bit because we didn't go to bed until 5:30 a.m.....so we got up at 11 to start our day. i then had the best shower ever. you know the "i haven't showered in far too long" shower?! next up was a quick visit from the middle school VP, scott, and his 2 year old son cooper. scott is great and cooper is adorable so of course that was good. early in the afternoon linds, phil, and i went over to my apartment. i unpacked while the parkinsons rearranged my living room furniture and phil made sure that everything was in working order. i am still living with them for now though since they have the internet and all that...and it's just more fun here!! after my place, we came back here and met some more new teachers, ian and alex,who are great as well, and live in lindsay and phil's building. then all the newbies went out on a quick bus tour of our area and out for dinner. we met all of the admin and had a chance to meet the other newbies. after dinner, linds and phil met me at the mall where we were eating and we made a trip to ikea. which is awesome. there is so much that i want to get for my apartment there! once we arrived back home, we went upstairs to meet kelly and pat (aka ma and pa kuwait) and then back down here for a snack. now i'm writing this as we watch big brother. and that is that!
as for tomorrow, i'm off to school with the other newbies for meetings and to see the school, etc. but don't worry, lindsay packed me a nice snack so i'll be good to go!! and now it's BEDTIME! i'm SO tired!
