i first met brooke on the side of the road along 9th south and 10th east.
it was a long time coming.
she is robin's friend in new york.
and after two years of rave reviews, we finally had our moment to meet.
her husband brady just finished grad school and they moved home to utah until further notice.
it honestly was the beginning of a beautiful thing.
we scheduled dinner, diet coke + anthropologie nights every chance we had.
we laughed and speculated and analyzed and did everything proper women do.
and everytime we parted ways, i thought to myself:
WHERE HAS BROOKE EWING BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!
and now.... seven months later... she's moving to washington d.c.
and i'm crying.
so tonight, we gathered one last time {sans holly, who was home with a sick kid. sad.} to do dinner, diet coke, anthropologie, laugh, speculate, analyze and everything proper women do.
i have nothing to say about it.... the silence of my broken heart should speak loud enough.
but, it wouldn't be a real girls night if there wasn't some form of unsuccessful camera phone photo session:
1. too blurry.
2. brooke's not looking.
3. i snapped the picture too early.
4. they said the camera looked like a missionary badge, so i tried to move it down. but now all you see is chin. sick.
5. good enough. picnik will fix it.
gooooooodbyeeeeeee brooooooooke. goodbye brady. {why'd you have to be so qualified for a good job? why couldn't you work manual labor forever?} goodbye eli. my main squeeze. goodbye abe. you sweet red headed baby, you.
i'm honestly so sad they're going. but so excited to visit them in d.c.!
