Copycat Fashion Experiment (or something like that)

I was doing my daily viewing on tokyofashion.com and came across a cute girl the other day, which sparked an outfit idea. See, I have A LOT of pieces, just sometimes don't know how to put it all together. I go blank and forget. I really need to learn the proper layering techniques too. So anyways, this is the girl:

The thing that I right away liked about her outfit was how she put together a plain t-shirt with the wider belt. I know, it's really so simple that I almost feel stupid. I have so many tee's that I don't wear anymore because of the fit or whatever. With this idea I can still wear these cute but ill-fitting t-shirts, but cover the problem area -- which is the dreaded stomach of fat. Jarred always says, and usually while I'm struggling to squeeze myself into a waist cincher, "Why cover it when you can just go to the gym and forever make it go away instead..??" -- Uhhh, helloooo?? It's called laziness. I hate going to the gym. Yes of-course I agree that you feel awesome after a good workout, and the results are worth it. It just takes me a while to get motivated. A long while. I'll get back on track. And I was doing so well last winter too. Right now I've been in a bit of a slump --- since May. hahahahaaa. Ughh, moving forward!....

So I decided to recreate this look / idea:

My cute vintage 80's Strawberry Shortcake bag that I created. Well, I bought the plain canvas bag from Michaels and did the rest. Isn't it so cute??  :)

I love my McDonalds t-shirt. It's been sitting stored away for some time. I forgot how awesome it is, haha. I had purposely purchased these McDonalds tee's with the intention to wear them to the gym when I went for my workouts. Thought the contrast would be funny. Totally my stupid sense of humour. I think I wore them once (??) cause after a while they didn't fit me any longer -- hahaha! Perhaps one too many McChickens and not enough time on the treadmill. Now that I didn't find funny.  ;)

Speaking of awesome t-shirts, check these graphic tee's from urban outfitters. I see a few I wouldn't mind buying. I sometimes don't like the prices at Urban Outfitters though, lol.

The price range I do enjoy is $11.99, what I paid for this crop top tee today at Winners. YES!

xoxoxoxo...
