it took me 4 seconds to embrace fall. my inner san diegan used those four seconds to wrestle with the idea of wearing flip flops forever.
but the aubry on my utah driver's license {which i've had long enough to be up for renewal!} fought, and won, in the name of layers upon layers.
i wore tights + boots to church on sunday {with short sleeves!} and felt right at home all snugged up tight in my colorful legs.
i made pumpkin pie oatmeal for breakfast and scoured the online recipe archives for more fall favs.
and now: long sleeve layers.
in broad stripes and dark plaid.
not to mention - a mess of hair. looooong and darrrrrk.
welcome fall.
i'm happy to have you.
may you stick around long enough to be enjoyed before winter bulldozes our love affair.
