if my dad read my blog, he'd probably disown me for all the crappy hip-shot phone pictures i try to pass off as legit documentation.
but he's not a blog reader.... i don't think so, anyway.... so we're safe for another little while.
i digress.
the point of this post is showcase my inner arts and crafts copy cat.
i hope you can appreciate this, ali. it all started as this awesome tiger print i picked up at the thrift store for $3.
i needed a print in a frame.... without glass.... a wood block print of sorts.
i just happened to get lucky with this monster tiger.
i sanded him. slapped a few coats of paint over top.
i wanted to keep it neutral since i was giving it away and not everyone shares my sentiment about bright colors + bold paint.
i traced a rough shape of the u.s. onto a roll of cork board and glued it to the frame.
"our adventures together": print. cut. pin.
and then a year's worth of blog reading to make sure i pinned each of their adventures appropriately.
these two are travelers. there's no doubt they'll have this thing plastered in a year's time.
{what i should have done was made a map of the world....}
yayayayayayaya ali + eric.
happy travels for ever!
