i haven't read the book but i took the test and my love language ismost definitely quality time. tried and true. and even though my mom's greatest fear is that i'll run off to a secret wedding without telling her i'm even dating anyone - i am not here to announce that i am in love with anyone.
but. makes me think:
can you apply your love language to all of your relationships?
like, can we all agree that my idea of a good time is doing nothing productive... as long as i'm doing it with someone?
eating cheap mexican food and checking blogs and looking for swimsuits on the internet for hours and hours on a friday night with your best friend from high school instead of working on the DIY project you originally came for, for example.
can "hanging out" be a hobby? can "anything or nothing, as long as we're laughing" be a hobby?
because i think that's what makes me happy.
