The Project.

The Project IS OVER!

that's one month - one full month - that i went without "shopping"

you know, mall shopping...

consumerism.

the hobby that i enjoy.

and the one that drains my bank account.

everyone's asking me how much i saved.

and to be honest, i have no idea.

for one, i'm not a budgeter.  i'm a spender or a non-spender. 

i'm a pay your bills first, then stash this much there, and that much over there, then equally divide the remainder among anthropologie, j.crew, and nordstrom. 

{i'm no respector of quality shops}

but this month:

incoming: federal tax refund {my best yet!}

outgoing: auto registration, homeowners insurance, auto insurance.

it's an expensive time of year.

the regular ol' maintenance-of-the-day money spending was all out of whack.

so it's hard to say for sure.

but there was always enough.  always plenty.

as it should be.

now, saturday?  i shop.

hallelujah, i SHOP.
