note: my new tv was delivered today.
but i didn't set it up...
for fear that i wouldn't be able to follow the instructions {ikea, please?} and the dvr would be unhooked during the precious prime time hour.
tonight i'm watching the bachelor finale with long lost friend rachel. remember when we met last summer? {one person, two bodies}. welllll.... rachel is in town from wash d.c. and i'm honored to have a slice of her hometown visit, if you will. what better way to catch up than girl talk over the ultimate girl show?
so:
reality steve said it would be emily.
... who was my pick from the very beginning, remember?
i would rather climb into a shark tank than climb into a recording studio and sing a seal song.
i'm always so embarassed for the bachelorettes make crafts for their boyfriends.... especially when my gut says they're going home. that message in a bottle is going straight to the cape town recycling program.
rachel would like to point out the fact that {1} the sloppy kisses chantal and brad exchanged at their hotel room goodbye was a baaaad sign. {2} emily is strikingly beautiful and {3} bachelor brad is waaaaay more attentive to emily than to chantal.
whoa. whooooaaa. wwhhoooooooaaaa.
brad has a crazy, angry streak.
and for what? did i miss something?
did emily do something wrong?
is this an indicator of brad's quick fuse? is that scary? i think so.
chantal looks like she came straight off a soap opera set with those dramatic feathers on her shoulder. perhaps her parents house?
and she's so excited.... and so confident..... but she's going to be so sad in a sec.
i thought for sure i heard brad heading down the path of "i want to guard and protect your heart"
HELLLLLLO NEIL LANE!
aaaaaand then grammy award winning TRAIN sings the montage song.
epic season.
{p.s. has chris harrison aged since season one? no. rachel thinks he's benjamin button.}
