you know what's weird???

BANANAS. bananas are weird.

i have never LOVED bananas. and never even really LIKED bananas. but here in vietnam, the bananas are so cute and little. so i try to like them and i try to eat them cause they are a good little snack. today at school, i was eating my bananas when i decided...bananas are weird.

i like the taste of bananas. but the texture is weird.
i like that some mini bananas grow together so it's like a 2 for 1. but they have those weird stringy pieces on them when you peel them.
i like all things that are made with bananas like muffins and loaves. but i hate that bananas bruise so easily and then get mushy.
i like squishing the frozen bananas out of the peels when baking (so much fun! read more about it here). but i hate that bananas can be used for baking even when they are all brown.

also - did you know that bananas are HERBS?!?!?!?! it's true. google it if you don't believe me!!
weird. weird bananas.
