last night, miss jen and i went to nordstrom to replenish some of our much needed essentials at the dior counter. i'm happy to report that my eyelashes are back to their full three-step glory.
also happy to report that i STRUCK GOLD with every other purchase i made. i could not have asked for a better shopping day. all of it very necessary, i assure you.

speaking of necessary, the best unnecessary purchase - purchased solely with gift cards, so completely justifiable.
the best lipstick - even if i had to visit the maddening mac counter.
the best cardigan - in the color i've neeeeeeded for so long, now {peacoat}.
the best layering camisole - i was weary, but it is grrr-eat.
the best nail polish - perfect non-color, color.
sometimes you've got it, sometimes not so much. last night... i had it. and it made me very very happy - in the way that monetary goods should not {but always do} make a girl feel. *sigh*
