bed time routine.

i have a new bed time routine and it leaves me so fresh and so clean, clean.

serious.  i hate washing my face at night.  ask my college roommates.... i never did it.
but in an attempt to maintain any youthfulness i haven't already wasted, i started washing my face before bed.

the other day brooke and i were at target and she pointed me in the direction of the facewash with the scrubby tool.  she said it would change my life.  and then she threw the blue astringent in my basket too.

i'm not sure she physically threw it in herself, but verbally - when she testified of its extra dose of clean
"you think you've cleaned your skin.... but use this... you'll be disgusted by what's still on your face."

so, basically, she threw that stuff in my basket and there was no turning back.
and i am here to bear you my testimony of this face wash routine.
CLEAN and SMOOOOOTH, people.

i've always had pretty normal skin.  but i remember as a 14 year old, looking forward to the day when i didn't have teenage skin anymore.  i thought those days would come in my 20s.... but it didn't.  i have the occassional blemish/breakout/what-the-&^%$-is-that? UNTIL this combo came into my life.  literally, changed my skin in one day.

the scrubby tool in the face wash bottle does its job.  it's just bubbly enough, it exfoliates, it takes my makeup off, and it washes clean... like, refreshingly clean.

and the astringent!  oh, the astringent.  my new best friend.
it burns so good.
but not too much.

it's the same satisfying clean you get after brushing your teeth.  the one that makes you say, "aaaah" and go to bed happy.

amen.

we all have brooke to thank for this.  and i think she has her sister in law candice to thank for it originally.

i charge you all to go to target tonight and break the bank for the $10 it's going to cost you to revitalize your night time routine.
