it's going to be a great week.

friday lunch hour with the co-workers just came and went.
fortune cookies were involved...
which always makes for entertaining conversation.

and so:

"you will meet someone in the coming week that will stay in your life forever."
followed by
"you will have a very wealthy retirement"

wwwwwwhat?

hello out there?  mister money bags? where are you?  this is our week!

after returning to the office, i scanned my email and found this, from a mom friend back home in san diego who i've known all my life:

Aubry - I saw this on Yahoo this morning and copied it for you: Supposedly these are the top 5 cities where women are more scarce than men. So. You're in a good place. Salt Lake. But coming home to SD might not be bad, or moving to LV. There are wierd people in Austin, so I wouldn't recommend it, although they do have good food. And Phoenix - again. Too hot, but definitely a wonderful cookie place called the Chocolate Starr Bakery, that is totally worth a trip there alone.

The top five areas where women were scarce, with their gender ratio and median age of marriage for women, were:

Las Vegas: ratio 116, 24.5 years (Median marriage age for women)
San Diego: ratio 115, 25.9 years
Salt Lake City: ratio 113, 23.2 years
Austin, Texas: ratio 112, 26.2 years
Phoenix: ratio 111, 25 years

looks like a trip home to san diego is in order.
