andi and i rendez vous'd in san diego for a little coastal escape.
(but, secretly, she was there for work and i was there to celebrate a 4th birthday)
first things first, we stopped to explore san diego's finest cupcakes.
might i say - not so fine. hmmmph. i wanted them to be so good... i wanted more lemon flavor... more cream cheese... more velvet... more, more more...
there were 3 of us. and 6 cupcakes. hmmm...
and we took CARE of all of them. picked them apart like we were profesh taste testers.
it had so much potential. so much. cute logo. cute concept. cute interior. if only their frosting was better...
if only i was brave enough to open my own...
