do you want the bad news or the good news?

well...you get both!

first, the bad news.  today at school my phone got stolen!  BOO!  

i went to my after-school club at 3:00 and for some reason today i brought my purse with me.  i usually don't but i did today.  apparently, my phone was on my desk and NOT in my purse.  it is now missing. BOO!  

AND it get's worse!  my teaching partner luke had ALL of the money taken out of his wallet as well!  after a very long and drawn out search this afternoon, luke actually found his money in one of the rooms where the cleaners keep their supplies.  but still no phone for me.  maybe it will show up tomorrow??  fingers crossed!

next, the good news!  i'm very fortunate to keep in contact with some of the families of the children that i taught egypt.  anyway, one of the mothers messaged me today to tell me that this gorgeous little girl recently got a new pet bird and named it EMILY!  how cute is that?!?!  oh my goodness!  what a sweetheart!  i miss them!

anyway, that was my day.  in a nutshell.  i'll keep you posted on the phone and the bird :)
