swall'r n' holl'r.

one concert down, two to go. last night, miss jen and i went to the depot for a little matt stillwell. or is it stillwater. i don't even know. stillwell. whatever it is, it's short for the-tightest-pants-in-the-word.

check it out:

oh, i need to zoom in? okay...

yeah, tight pants. hurts-to-look-at-tight.

that aside... it was a live performance, so i loved it. even though he sang some straight up country tunes. there were some definite highlights

1. running into lara's old flame. married old flame. totally odd. and yes, i called her immediately to tell her i ran into her "missionary"...

2. the crazy girls on the other side of the room who shamelessly threw themselves at the stage. the big hair girls wearing cheap charlotte russe 2 for $10 strappy tanks with their fashion wranglers and m.u.d.d. clunker shoes (can you see it?) and would you believe me if i told you they were from ogden? it's true. they told matt (since they thought they were on a first name basis n' all...) that he "should come to ogden... cuz that's where it's really at."

3. jen's subtle "that's what she said" comment... that caught the attention (in a way far different from sister ogden and her friend) of the entire band. "holl'r n' swall'r" impeccable timing on her part.

4. the old ladies marching right up to the front of the stage to snap a pic of matt's sweet face with their camera phones. old ladies. lots of them.

here are a few more pics.

the drinking game: holl'r n' swall'r

that's little miss ogden, swooning. shamelessly.

so, soup to nuts... it was a great show. now, onto the next show...
