the fridge.

it all started with the shanty fridge, which was really like one giant piece of real estate where even the smallest quarter inch was valuable, sought after space. we plastered the fridge with cut-outs of HEADS. sounds morbid, i know.

but it was a.maz.ing.
and gave us {and our guests} hours of conversation.

we counted once.
200-something heads.

church leaders
musicians
family members
missionaries
friends
american idols
survivors
and
heart throbs

it was also an unwritten law that we'd buy a magnet for the fridge from all of our travel adventures. and since we were 10 girls from 10 different places, we had a lot of adventures under our belt.

.......

comparatively so, my fridge is the conservative version of the college fridge. but it gets equal amounts of attention and gawk. maybe because i'm old enough to ditch the teen bop magazine cut outs from my life. AND my fridge.

alas.

i'm thinking of taking the fridge down. maybe just keep it to my travel adventures.
so take one last look.

bye bye anderson cooper and wolverine.

{mom, i'll keep robert downey, jr. just for you.}
