two weeks ago, tom from marketing had a birthday. he's a golfer... so i made golf cupcakes. it's also a well known fact that i will ALWAYS try to out-do myself. bigger and better. (it's a solitary game... i play nice with others)
so, when it was time for chris' birthday, i had to make a good showing for myself. 3.5 years with the same co-workers... people start to expect greatness. without an obvious hobby that can be translated into a frosting creation, like tom's, i had to rely solely on great flavor.
and so... my first attempt at red velvet cupcakes. homemade. recipe courtesy of the sassy radish.
the recipe said it made 2 dozen. perfect. 'cept it made like 17 dozen... and we're still enjoying them!
