jamie {also known as "whoosk"} is a far away friend. i heard stories of her long before i ever met her. i've know her for years. 8, to be exact. she was a college friend, of sorts. we lived in the same house, although, never at the same time. in fact, i could probably count on two hands the times i've seen her face.
she's funny. and witty. and such a one-of-a-kind. her blog is funny, too... but maybe just to those of us who know her.
sometimes she gives me a shout out {most recently seen here} in her blog posts. i feel so cool when i see my name on someone else's blog.
best of all? jamie is thoughtful. so kind. always thinking of others. last weekend, while on a family vacation in the mountains, she was thinking of me. like i said... how kind.
