attempting to teach a handful of 14 and 15 year old girls something about their great worth, jen posed two questions to the ladies in her life...

one stipulation - honest answers required

when do you feel most beautiful?

what is your definition of beauty?

i feel beautiful when
i am tan {really really tan}

so fresh and so clean clean

 and only require a dash of mascara to complete my look

usually sometime in very late july, early august-ish after a summer outside.

in most cases, that means i've just done something really really fun with my people...

which means i'm surrounded by people who love me

who i'm completely comfortable with

and when we can all be our genuine

with lots of laughter

 and commonality

oh, and when strangers compliment me on what i'm wearing

now, beauty...

confidence plays big here

when you believe in yourself and act accordingly

when you quite trying to live your life with the sole intent to prove yourself to everyone around you

and when you're hap-hap-happy about it all

when you're living true to your convictions and committments {covenants},

i think heavenly father's countenance shines brighter than any bobbi brown brightening stick

and you're helpless against being stop-in-your-tracks noticeable.
