for no particular reason, other than it's a rockin' good song.
project hotlines: rolling stones, you can't always get what you want
project hotlines: rolling stones, you can't always get what you want
you see, when you're driving down the road and see road construction, there's likely a phone number at the end of the project that says "for more info, call 801.904.4xxx" if it's mine, and you call, that's when my cell phone rings. most often, the only people who have the energy to call do so because they're angry, angry, angry. i also don't always have happy information to share. hence - "you can't always get what you want".
male co-workers: meiko, boys with girlfriends
male co-workers: meiko, boys with girlfriends
"i know better not to be friends with boys with girlfriends, yeah i know better. you play the victim and i'll be the bad guy. oh, i know better."
because.... there used to be some people who thought it was impossible for me to be nothing more than friends with my male co-workers... and somehow, it was a disadvantage to them. hence, they were the victims and i was the bad guy.
jen: the davenports, five steps {more commonly known as the theme song from a&e's intervention}
jen: the davenports, five steps {more commonly known as the theme song from a&e's intervention}
oh, the humor of this. "veins swell, you know me well enough to tell, five steps you're over" but who cares about the lyric. it's the fact that it's the intervention theme song that makes it so great.
