when my brother left on his mission, so... october 1998?

i've used all major cell carriers - cingular, sprint, t-moblie, verizon.

i've had {at least!} nine different phones...

my first phone number was 619.850.4859.

it used to belong to my brother.

i went away to college and my dad gave that cell to his #1 mexican.

when i came back, i got another...

and my phone number changed. 619.261.4495.

and then i got my own my junior year of college.

a sprint phone. i loved it.

it had a ringtone that bocked like a chicken. for the time, that was very hilarious.

i also had my first non-california phone number. hmmph. 208.403.6150.

thankfully, since landing in utah 5 years ago, i've had the same awesome phone number...

and the same amazing carrier...

and a sweet corporate discount.

oh, oh, oh! i also remember the first text message i sent. it was in 2001. my friend josh taught me how to text. t-9??? wwwwwwhat's that? we were waiting in the parkway plaza movie theater for that awesome jack black "orange county" movie to begin.

if only i knew how life changing that moment would be.
