complete with inspiring, motivational messages as we entered the start line {i think jen shed a tear or two}, 47985 strollers, a pink bikini brief wearing man, an hour of laughter with a few of my favorite peeps, the standard triple threat mascara combo, and a full 5 minutes of uninterrupted access to the sale room at anthropologie at 10 a.m. as reward.

not sure if you can tell, but i'm staring straight ahead at a mile and a half of jam packed runners, walkers, racers.

in the spirit of a good weather on a spring day downtown - we scooted down a couple blocks to watch the state criterium cycling championships around pioneer park for the rest of the day.

i got my first official sunburn of the season.
