hope cousin danielle {or her photographer - dan hixson} doesn't mind my control + print screen trick here, but i had to show off the REAL pictures of the wedding cake i made back in august.
if you remember... this little trooper of a cake traveled 300 miles to driggs, id in the heat of the summer in the trunk of my car, up the stairs to the hotel room, back to the trunk of my car, yada.
the fondant was cracked all over, i nearly brokedown with panic and fret as i tried to fix the seams and keep the ribbons in place all over the cake before the bride and groom got a look at it.
i knew the photographer would do amazing things to capture the cake just as i had it in my mind {just as the bride had it in her dreams, too!}
and... here it is. a real beaut, if i may say.
