ever wanted to know what all the mexicans in my family look like?

i wish i could draw you all a family tree right now.
instead, feast your eyes on this set of mexican ganstas:

greg: my mom's next youngest brother. very reserved.
gloria: greg's 100% pure blood mexican wife and the funniest woman you'll ever meet.
rebecca: the queen of the world, my mom, cancer survivor, oldest sib of 4 and in complete denial of her brown blood.
mary: mother/grandma. the whitest woman - not only in our family - but on the planet.
christina: the littlest sister. accepts her mexican-hood, i believe. we all do, come dinner time.
sandy: lucky enough to be married into this family. to infuse her with brown pride, also known as "federale-hood", we call her sandita. when she does something very white, we take away some federale-hood points + she has to earn them back.
larry: another brother. sandy's husband. the baldest of the bunch. fully embraces his latin heritage, and encourages you to, too.

they had a reunion this weekend. i guarantee you there was a lot of laughs, super fast-talking, and a side of rice and beans.

this, friends, is the reason i can make brown jokes.
