What better way to start the new year than by talking about my guy crushes -- hahahaaa... And not only that, but a history timeline of all the guys I've ever obsessively ogled and fantasized about. I'm going to go through the list, starting from my teeny bopper nerd pre-teen days to now -- although I probably won't remember them all (a.k.a. hamster-brain). Here we go!....
- Corey Haim
OMG, these pictures are so funny to me -- cause I 100% had all of these exact posters on my teeny bopper covered walls and the back of my bedroom door. HAHA! I don't know what did it for me with Corey Haim -- think I fell in love with him from the movie Lucas, lol. Ummm, anyone who knows that movie is probably questioning: Why??? I don't know... I always have a soft spot for nerdy guys. Which you'll start to notice once I introduce the next two guys on my list....
- Chris Young
HAHAHAAA... this one really makes me laugh. I was head over heels for this shy guy -- hahahaaaa... Ohh geez. The movies The Great Outdoors and Dance 'Til Dawn did it for me. Do you remember the 1988 movie Dance 'Til Dawn..?? Probably the BEST made-for-TV movie from those years. Even better? Having taped it onto VHS and watching it over and over. I think I still have that tape.
- Will Wheaton
See, don't say I didn't warn you. I used to be all hot for Wesley Crusher of the USS Enterprise, haha. And actually a big reason why I liked watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Although Wesley never really made it up on my bedroom walls, I would have pounced on him in a heartbeat -- actually probably not. Only cause I was deathly shy of the opposite sex. And, let me just clarify, I was only really into Will Wheaton from the Star Trek days. Nothing else. I think it was the combination of nerd and uniform that did it. haha...
*sigh*, ohhhhhhh Wesley...
hahahaa, moving on...
- Michael J. Fox
This one wasn't overly obsessive. I had a small crush on Michael J. Fox after I watched and fell in love with the movie Back to the Future.
- Jordan Knight
This was supposed to be my future husband -- hahahahaaa...hahahaaaa...
- Russell Crowe
Holy shit, I had a big crush on Russell Crowe. It was the movie LA Confidential that placed him on 'The List'. He seemed like a guys guy; like he would be strong and protect you kind of man.
He looked super hot as the skinhead in Romper Stomper. And I am just speaking on looks; even though skinheads are idiots they do have a cool style (minus any racist tattoos and such.)
The two-second-crush list:
Brad Pitt from Thelma & Louise
Edward Norton in American History X. Hmmm, do I have a thing for thugs..??
Tobey Maguire
Topher Grace. Although it took me forever to remember his name. And yes, that's Eric from That '70s Show. See, the nerd thing again...
- Orlando Bloom
It all started with that long blonde wig... haha. It was funny cause I was watching Lord of the Rings in the theatre with my gf Danyelle, and when Legolas appeared on the screen we both sighed out loud at the same time, lol.
- Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf definitely lasts longer than the two-second list. I don't know what it is about him but everytime he talks I begin to swoon.
I don't know... He makes me feel like an adolescent teen...
- Patrick Wilson
a.k.a. Nite Owl
I'm actually more hot for him out of costume... ohhh that hair... ohhh those glasses...
Last, but not least, the latest love/infatuation/obsession:
- Michael Fassbender
Okay, for real though, this is a big crush. I've already watched Jane Eyre twice this week, and that's mainly because of him -- haha...
You can read a decent and interesting movie review HERE. I liked it -- but then again I love watching time period movies --- and movies with Michael Fassbender in them, lol.
He seriously has such expressive eyes, and truely is a good actor. I started to notice him in the new X-Men movie (X-Men: First Class), as the young Magneto. He stole the show, hands down. And I was in love. Baaaah.
You just can't take your eyes off of him..!! I didn't realize at the time that I had seen him in a few other films, although when watching Jonah Hex I was already drooling over his character, Burke. I had also seen him in 300, and Inglourious Basterds.
I now have Shame, A Dangerous Method and Prometheus on the MUST SEE list. And an oldie (2009), Fish Tank -- watched the preview and it looks good (see HERE)
HOT!!
Ohhh dear, I feel like a teenage girl...
He does have a big toothy mouth, hahaa, even then....
Okay, let me ask you this. How old does he look to you?? I thought maybe somewhere in his early 40's or so. Ummm, nope. I'm one year OLDER. Whaa..?? Yep. Why do a lot of stars always look so much more mature than me..?? Weird. He could be one of my regular Joe Blow co-workers. Well damn, whether he's 35 or 42 the man is gorgeous.
I love his accent... :)
And I need to control myself -- hahaa... Here, I'll add a photo on here just for my husband:
Scarlett Johansson
xoxoxo...
