Looking like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Well, it looks like my hardcore girl crush on Rooney Mara continues. It all started this morning when I saw the above photo of the actress at the movie premiere for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in London. She looks absolutely stunning. I love those bangs on her. I just find her sooooooo interesting to look at. And very beautiful, in a delicate waif-like way. She makes me yearn a full makeover, haha, like a 30 pound weight loss and a new fashionable haircut. And leather pants. All of a sudden I need to own a pair of biker leather pants. Damnit. I have to stop eating all these christmas goodies that keep pouring into the office. At this rate the only leather I'll fit into will be a suede poncho, which somehow doesn't get the same 'bad girl' effect.

The young actress has been busy promoting her new movie and showcasing her taste in fashion. Here she's shown arriving and leaving the David Letterman Show:

And at a few of the movie premiere's:

Of-course she looks amazing, although I'm not 100% a fan on the first two outfits, I am on the far right dress -- looking spectacular in a Givenchy Fall 2011 Couture gown.

I like the contrast, seeing her character in the leather, dark colors, and piercings -- and then in this white 'pure' dress. Although I love her Lisbeth Salander look too.  :)

Did you know that all the piercings were real.

The one thing I also love about her 'Dragon Girl' look is the bleached-out eyebrows. I almost feel like doing the same to mine, but fear seems to keep me at bay. Plus I might look like a wanna-be albino. At least if I were a true albino I could finally get my hair to that perfect shade of white I keep searching for.

I just can't get over her transformation. Let's view that again, shall we?

Rooney Mara: Before & After's...

I'm inspired to chop little layered bangs, which I'll probably immediately regret. haha, only because I've tried many hairstyles and know my hair -- and it's lovely inconvenient cowlicks.

In some of these photos she has this innocent little girl look. Makes me think of my sister Al in her younger years...

Al's been stuck in a rut, craving a different look. I keep urging her to do a makeover. I think she should do something drastic as the Rooney Mara makeover. It's like the time she had her 'mushroom haircut'.  :)

ps: Al's going to kill me for posting all of these. xoxo.

The one collaboration that I am excited for is the Trish Summerville Collection for H&M.

Yay! Now we all get to look like the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo..!! The collection is already available in select H&M stores. Oh-please-oh-please-oh-please I hope we have it here. I'm going to the mall tonite to specifically check and see. I must get those earrings!

Ooooooooo... Well, who knows. I might get those leather pants afterall.

See you at the movies!
