don't mind my amazing power point skills...
an innocent request for a cookie recipe on facebook by my friend donna {a sassy new yorker i met in a mass media class at byu - idaho} quickly turned into fireworks in my brain.
see, lots of people - myself included - think they have The End All Recipe.
but maybe not even something that grand... maybe it's your trusty, standby, never-fail recipe.
whatever it is, i want it!
the bennions have a few. as in - when i was younger, my mom and i would slave in the kitchen the week before christmas to make our plates of treats to take to all our favorite friends. we always included the same 4 or 5 recipe of cookies and treats we knew tasted so good.
bringing us back to yesterday -
donna sent out the call for a recipe. a show-off-my-baking-skills / aren't-you-so-lucky-you're-on-my-christmas-list? cookie recipe while i was rolling around the idea of designing and printing recipe cards for all of my people.
cute idea, right?
so here's the thing
send me a recipe... your to die for, always a hit cookie/treat recipe.
i'll print it up on my {yet to be designed} recipe cards.
... and then i'll send you a copy of the whole set!
do i realize what i'm getting myself into? probably not.
but do i want your recipe that bad? apparently, so.
plus, it will help me get my family and friend gifts out the door!
leaving a recipe in the comment might get a little out of control, so send it to my email
its1116 at gmail dot com
by december 11.
be sure to include your mailing address so i can send you your present before christmas!
tell all your friends.
the more we have, the better.
it's more work for me, but more presents for you!
