the weekend is gone ALREADY!?

where did it go??  the weekend is far too short i have decided.  but, to keep you up to date, here's what we were up to this VERY SHORT weekend:

• friday after school, cindy and colleen came over.  i can't tell you what we were up to...YET.  
• friday night bonnie and dan arrived back from their time at the beach in danang.  we went to the tavern for dinner and a couple drinks.  that brought me back home at 10:30 after a couple too many drinks.  bonnie, dan, and kelly were all in bed.  however, that night i had the pleasure of chatting with leah, who is super cool and lots of fun!  so yay for that.  
• saturday morning i was up bright and early because i can't seem to sleep in these days.  kelly was already LONG gone.  he left at 4:00 a.m. ish to go ride a bus for four hours to then climb 996m to the top of an extinct volcano in the "black virgin mountain run".  yes, you heard me.  they had to RUN up a mountain which was apparently nearly impossible.  this took all day.  the good news is that kelly came in 10th overall!  way to go KEL!  also the women in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, were all friends of ours!!  congrats to leeann, krista, and cheratien!
• while kelly was off mountain running, bonnie, dan, and i had a marathon of our own...it may have included food.  we made a yummy breakfast at home including bacon, eggs, toast, and tomatoes.  then after bonnie's meeting, we headed downtown to do some shopping and more eating.  we bought dvd's and priced lenses for my camera.  then we ate lunch and went to the famous FANNY's for delicious ICE CREAM!  so so yummy!  we relaxed the rest of the day til kelly arrived home.  
• saturday night involved a few more drinks at meghan's apartment for her birthday for bonnie and i.  dan stayed in.  and kelly went out for boys night.  boys night seems to have included eating rat....kelly did not partake in this adventure.  (thank GOODNESS!)
• sunday brought another delicious breakfast a la kelly and dan.  lots of relaxation. and some spa time with bonnie.  i got a manicure for $2.50.  it's a tough life.  oh, and when we got home from the spa, kelly and dan had cooked a delicious supper and we had a nice night visiting with thao, jeremy, and krista.  

PHEW!  so, i guess that's that.  that was our weekend.  and it's already gone!  so is monday now that i think of it....hmm.....

it also seems as if we eat too much.  or that it's actually all we do.....it's not i swear!

anyway, four more days til the weekend!  but who's counting??!!
