let me tell you, room D325 is the place to be right now! my kids are currently playing "MATH SNAP" and it sounds as if it is the most fun they have ever had. EVER!
the goal: to call out SNAP if the two cards turned up share an equivalent number. the number could be in decimal form, fraction, or base ten diagrams. the person who gets all of the cards first, WINS!
however, i just introduced a new rule. if you say SNAP and there is no match, the OTHER person gets all the cards. it is udder CHAOS in here!! fits of laughter. OOHS and AHHHHS. 1, 2, 3..... SNAP!!!!!!!!
i love when learning is so much fun that they don't even know they are learning!!! *insert evil laugh here*
