Roadie..

Well it was queens birthday weekend,What better way to enjoy your time off than a roadie, So myself & mr B loaded up the van..

First stop timaru for BK & to stretch the legs.

Heading out of timaru the scenery was awesome,Blue skies & snow covered mountains.

We landed at SBC mofo's house,Loaded the fridge with the essentials,Beer? Check,Bourbon? Check,Pizza & choc biscuits? Check... Sorted. 

Then headed out to rolleston to check out the new park,It's not finished  yet but it's looking the goods. ( No pictures ). Got hassled by some bitch cop about who we were etc... Eh whatever & then off for some food & beers.

Saturday arrived & we set off to templeton skate park,The small bowl had leaves & water in it so mr B & SBC had a flatland session in the tennis courts,I headed out for a BK snack! Dane & hamish showed up & the fun began,These 2 guys ripped it up & richard tried to grind his shin on his pedal.. It worked! Nice job man. 

Next stop was Wycola, It has a mexican hat & a small mini,Again dane & hamish ripped it up with all sorts of backwards freecoaster & peg shenanigans.

A good time was had on the mini then it was over to the tennis courts for mr B's flatland session,Now i'm not much of a flatlander,infact i'm NOT a flatlander but it's good to explore this kind of riding & learn hang 5's etc. Dane was doing hang nothings & sliders... sick! Hamish has hang 5's down.. Mr B learned some new links & we all just hung out & had fun,Even the local guys did a few skids etc just for fun.

Wycola was awesome & so is miss helens massive melons,SBC loves the taste of her juicy nectar!

Sunday we woke to the sound of rain,Always a bummer when your amping to ride,But SBC had a cunning plan & we hit the secret ninja warehouse, Catch up on dave & see some x-ray pictures of titanium rods!

Big thanks goes out to dave for letting us ride the warehouse,Heal up soon man! We didn't get any pictures of the session but do have some video footage i'll post later on. The weather outside pretty much sucked so it was back to SBC's for a few drinks & then off to the famous grouse hotel for a meal & couple of beers. From there it was back to SBC's for an early night... But we drank & got out of control... Even got some ed roman ninja action in!

So all in all a pretty sweet weekend was had,Meet some rad as fuck guys & gals ( Hi pip ), Chch is a rad place to hang out,The riding there is off the hook,It seems like if you want a park built the council will listen! Whats up with dunedin? Come on DCC get your shit together... Peter Chin??? What a joke!

Trip back to dunedin was some what slow,The rain had really picked up again & the wind had the van swaying good.

Oamaru farmland flooding & the roads weren't much better.
