i have an "i can make that" problem.

i blame it on:

living in utah

being mormon

the blogging world

and

growing up under the wing of a crafy mother

case in point:

i see things like these quotes in blogs from crafty, utah, mormon, blogging moms and i can't help but think

just gimme a fancy piece of paper and a sharp sharpie, cuz

i'm always dissuading her from buying all sorts of cute things

because i tell her

"i can make that"

but then i never really do.

someday, i'll show up at her door with a button ring, and everything else i've promised her.
