success!

mark this day and celebrate it...

i discovered my first EVER martha stewart recipe that tasted good and worked out as planned.

martha recipes usually sounds really glam and look really pretty... but end up being crazy complex, filled with yuppy ingredients {unsalted butter being my favorite of all}, and cost a fortune. i'm always let down.

but. BUT!

the creamy lemon bars? perfection.

i've always loved me a good citrus treat... and after taste testing just about every last bakery in the salt lake valley, there's nothing i'd rather have than a lemon bar from tulie bakery.

it. is. the. best. thing. i've. ever. tasted.

jen and i were convinced we could recreate them. {cute how domestic jen is becoming since entering wife-hood, isn't it? lucky guy, that ed parker.} they're just so much better than the lemon-bars-from-the-box that are equal parts gelatin and powdered sugar.

but, we did it. we discovered a tulie-esque recipe for creeeeammy lemon bars.

and then we ate. and ate. and ate.
