i want, i want, i want...
look, in high school everyone {including myself} wore jack purcells. it was the thing to do. granted, we wore them with our gap overalls... but still. but when i ordered a new pair in college, people stared at me like i ordered my kicks from mars. totally foreign.
oh, but then wait... j.crew started endorsing the jack purcell {at a slightly higher price, go fig} and they were suddenly hip {again? still?}, which meant i could instantly cash in on 10 years of back pay of coolness.
and then.... AND THEN... i discovered the g-r-e-a-t-e-s-t thing...
the entire line of converse shoes {even my long lost friend jack} can be COMPLETELY personalized.
i mean, if you're going to spring $50 for a sneak, you might as well pay $62 and get something, like, totally awesome. with your name on it, even.
like i said, wish list item #1 {of many}.
