what's going on here???!!!

is it terrible that today when i asked for something to get done, and it did, i didn't know how to react?! 

this past monday, (only 4 days ago) i asked if the empty room at the end of my hall could be turned into an art room for the junior division cause teaching art to 35 kids in a room set up for 17 just doesn't cut it.  art on the floor is NOT cool...for the most part. 

all i wanted was 6 big tables and 35 chairs.  (bonus: there was already a cupboard in the room....so i did not ask for that to be removed).  but i never expected that just because i asked for it to be finished by thursday that it would actually be finished. 

AND GUESS WHAT?!  it was finished this morning when i arrived.  then someone called to make sure that i knew it was finished.  then someone came and found me to give me the key for the door!!!!  i got some of my boys to help me rearrange the furniture, and VOILA!  we have an art room!  they even brought a teachers desk and chair that we are using as another table.  it's AWESOME! 

today we had art class in there and it ROCKED!  so much more space and everyone even gets a chair!!  imagine that!

and the best part is that i didn't have to fight or get andry, i just asked, and it happened and i love it!
