it seems that since i have arrived in canada, the weather has not really cooperated. we did have that one nice day at sandra's...and there have been nice "parts of days"....but overall, we're not doing too well so far.
yesterday tiff, sandra, my mom and i planned to drive out to driftwood beach on lake superior to check things out. we planned to go at 2pm because it was so nice out and tiff was working on her yard and all of that. 1:55pm - POURING RAIN. for over an hour. rain check on driftwood beach.
today matt, tiff and i planned to go out to take pictures in the evening. we were looking forward to the light during the evening and had been talking about it since the beginning of the week. we planned to go at 6:30pm. 6:28pm - POURING RAIN! we managed to take some pictures between the bursts of rain but the sunshine we hoped for was no where in site.
this means one of two things. 1. i brought home the rainy season from vietnam and we are officially doomed. 2. i should never make plans...just go when the sun is shining! fingers crossed for better luck this week....i don't like being the rain whisperer!
