since my obsession with photography started, i have been reading, playing, trying, and talking. to matt. he has been a great source of information and lots of help when deciding what to buy.
we had been talking about going out "shooting" together when i got home and tonight was the night. we planned to go out and shoot in the soft light in the evening. it rained a bit but we went out and shot anyway. i felt a bit nervous at points and decided i am a much better teacher than student. but matt is a a good teacher too. i tried out some different settings and shot on manual all night. i also had a chance to try out matt's 50mm lens which is VERY cool and tiff's macro filter which is also very fun.
