a:

chili, apparently.

i swept the company halloween chili cook-off last friday.

you see, my thursday went like this:

5 am - wake up

6:30 am - arrive at office

11 am - construction meeting

1 pm - the other construction meeting

4 pm - public meeting

6 pm - realize the computer is broke so the powerpoint you created is mostly useless. talk it out instead

8 pm - still talking

9 pm - return to the office

10 pm - eat dinner

1030 pm - make chili

11 pm - make mary poppins costume happen

12 am - set alarm for 2 am to check on chili then go to bed

2 am - check on chili

no where on this list is "taste the chili", yet friday went like this:

1030 am - decorate the office and make the halloween party come to life

11 am - conveniently forget to enter the chili in the contest {just wanted to make sure there was enough chili to go around...}

1130 am - chili judging begins

1132 am - reluctantly allow co-worker to enter my chili in the contest to avoid judging confusion

1230 - receive first place in the chili cook-off {and a $50 visa gift card}

... never did taste the chili.

oh, and word on the street is i'm really good at being a stuck-up elitest who isn't very nice.
