and, it is home to the MOST delicious cupcakes i've ever tasted. hands down. lots of places can pull off pretty. but i'm yet to see a place that pulls of deliciousness AND prettiness like this. is it possible to make bacon pretty?
not to mention the kind, kind, kind people behind this lil' operation. mr. man behind the counter {one of the owners' husbands?} kindly gave me THREE free cupcakes. three! even after i told him to charge me... he didn't. sneaky, sly mr. nice man.
i must be a traditionalist. my favorite was their VOV - vanilla on vanilla. with the fanciest little spread of sprinkles. i just might copy it someday...
even their workspace... charming. would it be acceptable for me to display sprinkles in my house like that? is that an acceptable form of artwork?
it should be.
so go. taste. and then go back again. martha even likes them. and, i'm sure that if oprah had the chance to try them, these would be her new favorite things.
