what's your favorite sport?

i started a new ward yesterday. in the "new member informative meeting" - those mormons are so organized - the head new member imformative meeting chairman guy asked us to introduce ourselves and tell everyone what our favorite sport was. apparently, the head-to-toe miss prissy pants attire didn't speak loudly enough. me? sports?

"is it a rule? does everyone have to like sports?"

not sure if i did myself any favors... but i was, at least, more popular than the girl who said her favorite sport was BYU football.

you see, lara came to town this weekend to see her little brother matt in a game against louisiana tech. he's kind of a big deal (as evidenced by the multiple interruptions at dinner following the game).

WE were kind of a big deal, too. had to enter through the secret back door... elite. ooh la la.

... and by little, i mean, 6' 8"

there's a slight chance lara and i love ourselves... a little.

there's also a slight chance lara has a crush on #22.
