the morning was filled with meeting after meeting... and we had to drive to ogden for another meeting... leaving us less than 30 minutes to gather/eat/drive, etc.
the mcrib challenge is not an event to be rushed.
besides, we wanted to go to the truck stop on 2100 south and whatever west. yes, west. ghetto west side. this will be a memorable experience. with full documentation (and no napkins, i'm told. i've got to eat every last bit).
we had another (random) co-worker there. typically not a problem. 'cept he's had a mcrib... of his own free will and choice. gave his wife credit for it, actually... said she wanted to try it because "she likes ribs". really!? you like ribs? how about eating ribs, then? not a pre formed riblet something or other dripping in mystery sauciness... with a bonus pickle.
so... next week.
