total girl's night at the book signing lat night.
like, 32784322 girls. crafting. cupcakes + mulled cider. gift bags with sweet tags and a perfectly perfect room set up. all par for the course when blogging comes to life, inside anthropologie, no less. the match boxes were even covered in polka dot scrapbook paper to fit the scene.
susan, my reality tv partner, came north to slc with girls from her book club. i came with holly. jen was home in bed, dearly missed.
we learned from grace. got crafty making our own wax seal.
mine was a slew of expletives, like this:

don't you hope you get a christmas card from me this year?
we ate sweet treats, took pictures, got out books signed, then escaped for a real meal.
{note: don't order the gnocchi fritti at sea salt. order the gnocchi ai cinque formaggi. sarah and i were so disappointed, we gave our meal back and split the cheesy dish. when in doubt, go for the cheese.}
all gathered, i think there were 16 of us. 16 creatives. 16 bloggers. 16 lovers of design*sponge. 16 loud mouths.
we had a great time.
and bonus, look what came out of the event: a freshly picked blog post on d*s this morning!
don't be sad when i post more pictures. taking the same picture with 16 smart phones is nuts. there's still some sharing going on.....
