loomi tea? YES PLEASE!

it all started the other night when we went to one of lindsay's students houses for dinner (fatour/iftar/breaking the fast).  it was such a wonderful night.  the family was very welcoming and the dinner was super yummy.  and the student of lindsays is ADORABLE.  and loves lindsay to BITS! 

anyway, after dinner they offered us a delicious tea.  it's called loomi tea - which means lime.  and it's not really tea because it's just like lime infused or something.  anyway, we made it last night...and it looks a little like this:

first you take a dried lime...

and you hammer it into bits.

then you put all the pieces into a secure little tea thingy so you don't get any buts in your tea.

ready for water!

then you let the tea steep.  and maybe wash the dishes if you want.
