i've seen blog buzz all about nail polish lately.
it warms my heart.
i haven't always been a die hard polisher like i am now. i give full credit to a roommate of mine three or four years ago. she's also the one who inspired the one-of-these-things-is-not-like-the-other technique where, say, the ring finger is painted a different color than all the rest. kind of like this.
bestie jen and i went through a phase where there was no better way to spend a saturday than to march down to 9th and 9th for a day of fun. we'd go just a little bit north to nailed! for a manicure or a pedicure {or both...} and when we'd sit down in the booth the girls thought we were a little bit nuts for asking them to "paint this finger that color and the rest that color". but when it was all done, everyone loved the genius idea.
and co-workers and clients think i'm an absolute weirdo.
it does not go unnoticed.
but they also think i'm funny and fight for me to marry into their family, so the nail polish can't be too damaging....
paint, people! paint your nails...
